The Department of Homeland Security "DHS" Hockey Team will be participating in the Hero's Cup Tournament April 20-22, 2018 in Marlboro MA with proceeds benefitting the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation "MC-LEF".

The Mission of the Hero's Cup Hockey Tournament is to bring together First Responders, Firefighters, Police officers, Military Members and EMS workers for a fun weekend while promoting a healthy active lifestyle through hockey. The goal is to show support for our First Responders while raising money for the charities they are passionate about. Each team needs to raise $1,500 for the Boston Bruins Foundation, which covers the tournament fee for each team and the associated tournament costs (referees etc). The monies raised above that are distributed to the individual charities selected by the teams. THE DHS CHARITY BENEFACTOR IS THE MARINE CORPS - LAW ENFORCEMENT FOUNDATION "MC-LEF". YOUR SUPPORT FOR DHS IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

MC-LEF currently provides a $30,000 scholarship account for every child who loses a parent serving in the United State Marine Corps or any Federal Law Enforcement Agency. Since our founding in 1995, MC-LEF has awarded over $72 million in scholarships and other humanitarian assistance, and has supported over 3,900 recipients. Over 98% of donations made to MC-LEF are directly distributed through the scholarships. www.mc-lefac.org and www.mc-lef.org
